A Fisherman’s Tale Is a New VR Adventure Game That You Should Try

A Fishermans Tale

Virtual reality games may be the future of gaming, but they still have a long way to go before becoming that. However, it is always nice to see a release that tries to take things to the next level, such as A Fisherman’s Tale developed by Innerspace VR. We first heard of this game in November 2018 when a gameplay trailer was revealed:

The developers described the game as a mind-bending release featuring multi-level puzzles, and they were right. The trailer dazzles us all, and we patiently wait for the release which was set for “January 2019.” Now we are glad to inform you that the time for the release has come.

Totally Fresh Release

A Fisherman’s Tale has officially hit the (digital) shelves on January 22nd. The initial reviews on Steam are extremely positive, and it seems that the community likes playing as Bob, which is the main protagonist of the title. The guy is an ordinary fisherman living in a lighthouse. The problem occurs when he wakes up and realizes that he is merely a puppet! As if that wasn’t enough, Bob also figures out that there are multiple versions of him. Even the lighthouse where he is set in is a lighthouse that is inside of another lighthouse that is…you get the idea.

Does that feel mind-bending enough to you? The fact that there are multiple characters and lighthouses mustn’t prevent Bob from completing his task – turning the lighthouse on when the storm begins. The goal is to reach the top of the location, but your journey won’t be simple. Not only it will be hard to keep track of Bobs and lighthouses, but there is a wide array of other incredible and confusing characters. Fortunately, they are added to help Bob complete his objective.

A Fisherman’s Tale is only available to play by using VR headsets, such as Windows Mixed Reality, HTC Vive, and Oculus Rift.
