It has been a rough ride for the Electronic Arts and the Star Wars franchise, but things seem to be getting at the right track finally. Respawn has been working on the Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order relentlessly and it seems that they are making some progress. As PC Gamer revealed, we can expect the official reveal of the game in April.
The date we are looking for is April 13th, which will be the middle of the Star Wars convention set to be held in Chicago at the time. Respawn and EA believe that event is the ideal time to give the public at least some information about the upcoming franchise addition.
As we already know, the main protagonist of the Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order is a Padawan who is one of the rare survivors of Order 66. Considering that the Order has fallen, the times are difficult, and it will be his task to find a way to restore balance throughout the galaxy.
A special panel will be dedicated to the official release of the game during the Chicago convention. The post at StarWars.com claims that many details will be shown to the public for the first time. We do not have anything against hearing and reading about things, but if you ask us, we would like to see some gameplay footage. The game should be released in fall 2019, and although that is not that close, the developers had enough time to have something that can serve to showcase Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order.
The convention itself will start on April 11th and last for four days. The franchise fans will be happy to now that they can expect the news about other additions to the series. The community is talking about a possible trailer for the new SW movie (Episode IX), and the chances are that the Old Republic might bring something fresh, too.
