Creating hype about the game you are developing is important. Sometimes the job is done by the community itself, such as in cases when leaks are revealed. This now happened to Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order.
At this point, we asked ourselves – how much do we actually know about the new SW Game? We know that it will be created by Respawn, a studio now owned by Electronic Arts. The same guys used to develop Call of Duty and Titanfall 2. But apart from that, there are no announcements related to the game.
That is why we are glad that Reddit came into play. One of the users on this network decided to reveal several potential leaks, including the name of the primary protagonist and their mentor. The user nicknamed Xyzsvtabc claims that he had participated in a presentation about the game that Disney held. During this event, he discovered that the official release date of Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order is set to be November 2019. This was, however, already confirmed by the Electronic Arts.
The Story Goes On
The timeline will be exactly five years following the finish of Revenge of the Sith. The primary protagonist’s name is Cal, but he will have a mentor named Ceres. That’s right – his mentor will be a woman!
According to this leak, the Inquisitors you may know from the SW Rebels show may be guest stars in the game – in fact, they should be one of the featured villains. Naturally, there is no confirmation by EA or Respawnregarding these leaks. They haven’t decided to deny them either which fuels the hope that they might be true.
Even the reputable Making Star Wars fan site decided to publish these leaks and they wouldn’t publish just anything. So, if you do not trust a Reddit user, perhaps you will trust them. Another leak that was mentioned is related to Star Wars Episode IX– apparently, Dio may make an appearance as a sidekick to BB-8. Both of these are droids and you may know Dio from SW Battlefront II. Regardless of whether or not they may be true, it is always interesting to talk about leaks, especially when developers are shy on details, such as in the case of Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order.
