Resident Evil 2 Remake

Resident Evil 2 Remake Will Have a Livestream Launch Event

The exciting news is coming from Capcom and it is related to the remake of Resident Evil 2 that we should expect in 2019. The company revealed that there will be a live stream event dedicated to the launch of the game on January 22nd. The entire event will be aired from Tokyo and we already have the exact time – 7 PM Japanese time is when the live stream begins.

It is imagined for the stream to last for 90 minutes during which we will get various information regarding the game. This will include seeing gameplay footage, as well as learning more about new features and details. The community will also have a chance to talk with the developers, as well as Moga Mogami who will be a special guest star during the live stream.

How can You Attend?

In case you are a hardcore fan of Resident Evil 2 (and Capcom), you might be interested to know who will participate at the event. The list includes Tsuyoshi Kanda and Yoshiaki Hirabayashi, the producers of the game, as well as directors Yasuhiro Ambo and Kazunori Kadoi.

If Tokyo is by any chance close to you, there is a chance to attend the event live. You can visit the Capcom’s website to sign up, but please note that the deadline is January 10th. If you attend live, you will get some nice gifts, too, including a USB wristband, a tofu package, and a couple of posters of members of Biohazard Ambassador team. Since there is only a limited number of places at the event, Capcom will send an e-mail to those that were chosen to participate on January 11th.

In the meantime, you can check out some cool gameplay action featuring Leon and Claire here. The official release date of the game is January 25th, 2019. Resident Evil 2 will be released for PC, Xbox One, and PlayStation 4.
