PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds seems to be as popular as ever. The addictive Battle Royale shooter has been the leader of the gaming market for months, and the developers are doing all they can to keep things that way. That is why they are continually adding new stuff to the mix and surprising players with new extras. The latest change that was made might be of cosmetic nature, but there is no doubt that the PUBG players will find it intriguing.
The developers decided to add two new cosmetic crates. They announced this in a Steam post several days ago, and today we can finally see them in action. The two boxes available are:
- Fever Crate
- Militia Crate
While you don’t have to be brainy to figure out the theme of the second pack, the first one is particularly intriguing. The Fever is actually related to the disco fever that was a huge thing back in the ‘70s and ‘80s. The developers of PUBG decided to go on a time travel and bring us clothing pieces from several decades ago. Although you can buy the Fever crate right away, keep in mind that you will need to purchase an Early Bird key, too. That means you will need to invest real cash in opening the Fever crate, although you can buy the box itself with Battle Points. As for the items available, there is a vast variety of them, including the checkered shirts and cropped corsets. You can take a look at the official drop rates on this page.
Now, let’s move to the Militia loot box. As you might assume, the apparels available in that pack have the theme of combat. The list of items that you can discover is a turtleneck with long sleeves, as well as a cowboy hat. We don’t know why, but you have the slimmest chances of finding a military skirt. In fact, its drop rate stands at .00064% which is incredibly low. Regardless, there is a bunch of fresh items available at higher chances than the skirt.
As for the chances of finding the Militia look box, they look pretty good. At this point, they stand at 40% of appearing whenever you purchase a random crate with Battle Points.
If you are not happy with only cosmetic changes in PUBG, we’ve got good news for you, too. The developers confirmed that we can expect a new map to appear in July 2018. That is only several months away, so sit tight!
