Five Characters That Should Appear in Mortal Kombat 11

The hype about Mortal Kombat 11 is finally starting! The release itself was revealed during The Game Awards and a couple of days ago we got a confirmation that there will be an official reveal event in January. The game is scheduled to see the light of days in April 2019.

The thing that always intrigues the fans the most is the character list. There is no official roster yet, but the community is already speculating. Let’s take a look at what seem to be certain inclusions in Mortal Kombat 11. We carefully watched the trailer and also performed a deep search online to make this list.

Dark Raiden

We are starting with an exciting one! Raiden is known as a familiar character from numerous MK games, but this time he comes with a twist. If you carefully see the trailer, you will notice that the lightning he throws is red. It implies that we are not actually talking about the classic, but actually the Dark Raiden.

You may know the evil version from 2004’s MK Deception, but he also reappeared in Mortal Kombat X. Naturally, we also expect the classic positive Raiden as somebody will need to eventually stop this dark alternate.

Shao Kahn

The biggest villain of the franchise is also another expected appearance in Mortal Kombat 11. He will be featured in the newest instalment, but with a twist. Shao Kahn will only be accessible as DLC to customers who pre-order the game. This implies that he won’t feature actively in the plotline.

Another familiar character is Scorpion, a ninja who is a huge fan of fire. The chances are that we will hear his “get over here!” once again. While we are on the topic of ninjas, there is no reason why not to expect Sub-Zero and some other similar characters.

A leak that appeared online is speculating the inclusion of Oracle. This is allegedly an all-new female character. If you watch the trailer carefully, an unknown lady is hitting the huge hourglass in the end. Could she be Oracle?

This is another fighter who will probably be featured on the list of fighters available in DLC. Todd MacFarlane actually confirmed on Reddit that Spawn will be in the roster for Mortal Kombat 11.
