Nick Fury, the Director of S.H.I.E.L.D., delivers a worrying note from the future. The reality is tearing apart because of the collision of multiple dimensions. The final battle is upon us, and you need to gather the best cast of heroes and villains to save our planet. In short, that would be the central storyline of Marvel Future Fight, an action RPG designed for all comic fans out there.
Ever since the global release in April 2015, the game has been on the rise. At this point, it has over 50,000,000 downloads only from the Google Play Store. Furthermore, over 2,000,000 people gave the game an average rating of 4.6 stars. All other developers are envious of the results Netmatble has been achieving with this release. So, where is the secret?
A Vast Roster of Superheroes and Villains
Marvel has a huge fan base around the world, and perhaps that is where we should look for a reason why Future Fight has so many downloads. However, if the developers haven’t offered proper content, there is a slim chance that the reviews would have been this good. But to the delight of fans throughout the globe, we got an addictive action game with RPG elements that allow us to collect and upgrade our favorite characters from the Universe.
More than 100 superheroes and villains are available in the vast roster of the selectable characters. That includes first-class names such as Spiderman, the Avengers, X-Men, and much more. Sure, there are some of them still missing (like Deadpool), but rest assured that Netmarble will include them in one of the future updates.
Multiple Modes Available
You can upgrade your favorite characters as you progress through the game, as well as unlock new uniforms and gear. To do all that, you need to be successful across multiple modes available in the game. For starters, there are story missions that span across various dimensions of the Marvel Universe. High-paced action enables you to use the unique superpowers, such as the shield of Captain America or Iron Man’s Unibeam. Once you get tired of playing against the environment, you can test your strength against other players by selecting your best squad and sending it to battle in the Arena mode.
There have been more than dozen updates for Marvel Future Fight only in 2017. That should be about the desire of Netmarble to continuously work on the game and provide new content. After all, it still brings considerable revenue to the creators, and there is no reason to stop. The latest update is based on the Marvel movie that recently started playing in the theatres throughout the world Thor: Ragnarok.
What Does the Thor: Ragnarok Update Change?
The 3.5.0 update adds three new characters to the roster of heroes available in the game. They will all be familiar if you’ve watched the mentioned movie. The package includes Valkyrie, which you can get from the “20 Biometrics daily’ pack, and Heimdall and Skurge, both of which can be acquired if you use biometric selectors.
These are not the only additions to the latest update. The fresh content also includes new uniforms for Hulk, Loki, Thor and, Hela, as well as an entirely new mode!
The new form of the challenge called Cinematic Battle is now available to all players who download (or update) the game. The mode brings cool rewards that you can win by replaying some of the most memorable fights ever to take place in the Marvel Universe. You start by starting an event in which the Incredible Hulk faces The Mighty Thor.
When you start the battle, you have a particular time limit to complete all the objectives and clear the stage. Depending on your success, you will qualify for more or less exciting prizes. You can’t continue to the next level of the Cinematic Battle until you complete the current one, which seems quite logical.
Are You Ready to Collect Some (More) Cards?
Another adjustment was made with the newest update of the Marvel Future Fight, and it’s related to collecting comic cards. All collections are sorted into different categories, such as S.H.I.E.L.D. or Guardians of the Galaxy. Once you acquire a set, you will get hot rewards, such as boosts to physical attack or movement speed. There is also an overview of all available cards along with the instructions on how to get in on a separate screen.
