Gwent Thronebreaker

GWENT Thronebreaker Now Has a 37-Minute Gameplay Video

It is now less than two weeks before the official release of Thronebreaker: The Witcher Tales, which means that it is the perfect time for some gameplay footage. If you are a fan of the franchise, the chances are that you are carefully following the news related to this CD Projekt RED’s game, but let us remind you that Thronebreaker is a spin-off to The Witcher series and will be particularly welcomed by the fans of GWENT, the card game based on the franchise, due to the addition of new cards.

After doing an amazing job with Wild Hunt, there are great expectations from the studio that offers some big promises, too. They believe that the story will not only impress the experienced players but also attract new gamers to the franchise. The game will be available in single-player mode and the playthrough is largely driven by an inspiring plotline. Aside from enjoying the story, players who enter this RPG world will have to share many puzzles on their way to finishing the game. We already mentioned GWENT, which implies playing cards will also be possible.

“The situation is quite chaotic as Northern Realms and Nilfgaardian Empire are in a conflict. Warpath seems to be the only possible solution for the Queen of Rivia and Lyria Meve,” is roughly the content of the tease offered on the official website of Thronebreaker.

The game seems to be a new approach to the series as it will be a mix of everything we love about The Witcher, but also other factors that may attract lovers of tabletop adventures. The trailer does show some impressive moments from the game and you can check it out here. It lasts for a whopping 37 minutes, which means there are plenty of things to watch and notice.

We already mentioned that Thronebreaker will be available on October 23, 2018, but that is an exclusive PC release. There is a chance it will not be available on Steam, but you can purchase it via GOG, where it is already available for pre-ordering. As for the console releases, the game will arrive on December 4 to PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.
