We are only a week away from Destiny 2 finally releasing on PC. While we are counting the days to October 24th, Bungie is revealing additional details about the game. The latest news is related to the minimum and recommended PC specs for the release. Players will look forward to hearing that the requirements remained at the same level like for the open beta.
The first thing you should know is that you will need 68 GBs of space on your hard drive for Destiny 2. The recommended operating system is Microsoft Windows, with Windows 10 64-bit being the best option. On the other hand, you will need to have at least W7 64-bit to run the game without problems.
What about Other Minimum and Recommended Requirements for PC?
You can use either Intel or AMD CPU. The minimum is Intel Pentium G4560 3.5 GHz or Intel CORE I3-3250 3.5 GHz, with the recommended configuration being Intel CORE I5 7400 3.5 GHz or i5-2400 3.4 GHz. As for AMD, you can get through with AMD FX-4350 4.2 GHz, although it is best to have AMD Ryzen R5 1600X 3.6 GHz.
AMD’s GPU also can be used, with the minimum being AMD Radeon HD 7850 2 GB and the recommended option AMD R9 390 8GB. The best visual presentation is also available with Nvidia GeForce GTX 970 4GB or GTX 1060 8GB, although you can also manage with at least Nvidia GeForce GTX 660 2GB or GTX 1050 2GB.
Finally, if you already have at least 6 GB of RAM, you don’t have to worry about running Destiny 2. However, the best performance is available with 8 GB of RAM or more. You can take a look at the entire list of requirements on Bungie’s website.
When Will Destiny 2 Be Available?
As you can see from the specifications, you can run the game with modest configurations, so the chances are that D2 won’t demand to upgrade the components of your PC. According to the information from the publisher, the game will be available on October 24th for purchasing in retail store or via Battle.net online shop.
