Bandai Namco just made an agreement with CD Projekt RED for distribution of Cyberpunk 2077, the game that is currently in development. The two companies proudly announced their partnership and revealed that Bandai Namco will have the right to distribute the game across more than 20 countries in Europe. Most of these countries are a member of the European Union and their total number is 24.
“We are very pleased about the partnership agreement we signed with Bandai Namco. We believe that the projects we have done so far were the right recommendation and the reason why we have trust in each other,” said the Senior Vice President of Business Development of CD Projekt RED, Michal Nowakowski.
He reminded that this is not the first time the two companies have been partnering when it comes to games distribution. Bandai Namco was also the company that supported two games from the Witcher series, including the Wild Hunt and Assassins of Kings.
When it comes to countries where Bandai Namco will distribute the game, most of them are members of the European Union, but the partnership also includes United Kingdom, Switzerland, and small countries like San Marino, and Andorra.
“We are proud of the progress that CD Projekt RED has made over the last several years. It didn’t take a lot of time for them to become an extremely reputable studio. This image they established is due to the fact that they always try to come up with something innovative. That is why we are extremely honored to work with them on Cyberpunk 2077. Furthermore, we will put our best effort to provide exceptional service for a game that many fans have waited for a long time,” revealed Bandai Namco’s Vice President of Business Development and Southern Europe, Alberto Gonzalez.
Let us remind you that Cyberpunk 2077 was inspired by Cyberpunk 2020 and has the goal of attracting players that love pen & paper advantages to the open RPG world featured in the game. All events will happen in the Night City and it will be a narrative-driven game. You will play as a mercenary called V who will have to make some tough decisions that might have severe consequences.
