Take a Look at Tencent’s Call of Duty Mobile Screenshots

Call of Duty Mobile

We won’t hide the fact that we were surprised when Activision decided to partner with Tencent and give this studio the license to design the new Call of Duty release for Android. According to the reports from August, Tencent will make the game exclusively for the Chinese market, but there is a good chance that other parts of the world will be available to download it via the Google Play Store.

The decision that Activision made was logical as this deal was their ticket to the gaming market in China. Both companies have been silent from that announcement, but we seem to have screenshots of the new CoD game available now. If you take a look at them, it seems obvious that Tencent is doing a good job and that the game progresses well.

The insider information reveals that the game is currently in the beta testing phase, which is how the images of the titles leaked in the first place. Users published Call of Duty screenshots on the national social network that is popular in China.

What Can We Discover from the Screenshots?

The first thing that we noticed is that the game looks great. Take a look at one of the screenshots and imagine that there are no touchscreen controls present on the screen. You will soon realize that the graphics of the new Call of Duty mobile can compete with some consoles. It might not look as good as on PlayStation 4, but it can be a match to PlayStation 2 graphics, which is an encouraging fact for all those who appreciate visual characteristics of a game.

Apart from that, the locations seem to be a mixture from various CoD games, which was another expected move from Tencent. The first Black Ops is featured with the Nuketown while we also noticed Standoff and Hijacked from BO3. Some information also revealed that the game will include maps from Modern Warfare, including Shipment from the first and Highrise from the second installment.

It was not a surprise that we noticed supply boxes over the maps. Call of Duty will be made for Android and it will be free, but here is to the in-game purchases that will once again be present. We still do not have the potential release date for the game, but we can expect it in the coming months.
