Since you have to stay home anyway, you might as well play games! Here’s a list of games you can play right now that are for the most part: accessible, cost little to nothing, easy to get into, multiplayer with friends, single-player, and FUN!

1. Brawlhalla

The objective in this game is to knock your opponent out of the park. Mix up your light and heavy attacks for unique combos, along with unique characters and weapons. Like PUBG, you will get weapon drops on the map randomly. You can equip two weapons at most. The maps are all visually stunning. All the characters have 4 stats: Strength, Speed, Defense, and Dexterity. Choose from over 40 characters and fight!

2. Town of Salem

Now this right here is an interesting game. Town of Salem is a variation of the popular deduction game called Mafia, albeit a much more complex one. Here we have 3 types of roles: Mafia, Villagers, and Neutrals. Villagers want to find the criminals and lynch them, Mafia wants to terminate everyone that is not Mafia, and Neutrals have their own agenda. It is available on Android and can be played on browsers. Costs $4.99.

Yes, you have to pay but it still makes the list due to the quality of gameplay and concept. You can party up with friends and the roles given in game are random. So, you can either end up on the same side or on opposing sides. Also, you can’t disclose your role to anyone. Keep your cards close because in this poker game it is not money that’s on the stake. This can get pretty engaging and mysterious. Deception, mind games, and murder are all on the table!

There are several game modes and each creative and different from else.

Here, champions and heroes are instead replaced by actual Gods. With a roster of 100+ Gods from real pantheons across the world, you will have a curious time exploring all of them. There are 5 roles in Smite: Jungle, Solo, Support, Mid, and ADC for Conquest, the main game mode. However, there are other game modes just for fun where you can just pick anything and have at it.

There’s still a bit of stigma attached to gaming, with the World Health Organization concluding last year that video game addiction is a “mental disorder.” However, it seems like WHO had a change of heart recently in the wake of the COVID-19 pandemic. The organization now claims that staying home and playing video games is an effective way of limiting the spread of the coronavirus. Since even WHO is on board with gaming now, all the more reason to stay inside and enjoy some quality time with your favorite titles.
